I know I'm totally getting down to the wire on this one, but if you're anything like me, you haven't quite put together what you're contributing to your family's get-together. Or maybe you're doing it all yourself this year. Either way, you still have some choices to make!
I know I'm bringing the sweet potato dish this year, but I also need to bring a vegan main course and probably some vegan gravy. And probably one more side dish. I'm lucky because Chris's sister is also vegan and there are a few vegetarians on his side of the family so I know there might be a few other things we can eat. Some of you might not be so lucky and planning out your vegan meal this Thanksgiving might be a little stressful (trust me- I've been there!). My advice to you is to just hang in there and be strong- when it's all over and you see how awesome it is to eat an entire vegan Thanksgiving meal, you're going to be so glad you did all that work. You should definitely check out Cadry's Kitchen's 12 Tips For Surviving Your First Vegan Thanksgivingas well as some great vegan Thanksgiving menu ideas of her own!

I've been making your salted caramel apple butter at least twice a month since apples started showing up at the market... and I'm bringing little jars of it as thank-yous to my Thanksgiving hosts :). Thanks for sharing so many beautiful recipes!

Wow!! I bet I will never need another Thanksgiving recipe source again!! Fabulous recipes. That nut butter and salted caramel-apple sauce are calling my name, along with the persimmon smoothie and brussels sprouts and lasagna and. . . .!!!! Thanks for linking to my 75+ recipes roundup, too. 🙂 Have a great Thanksgiving!

Mmm, everything here looks stunning and delicious! I think I need to make those caramelized pear muffins this morning...
I am looking forward to the holidays this year, even though this is the first one without Dad. I am going to Mom's the day before and we will cook all day - we always have fun in the kitchen and that is truly when the holiday season begins for me...

Lovely suggestions! We take a very relaxed view of Thanksgiving ... we plan for a few things but, because we don't have to worry about thawing a bird or managing ingredients that will easily spoil, we basically plan our meal the day before Thanksgiving. It's wonderful and so relaxed. The whole family gets into the act ... it turns out, every year, to be a great day! Thanks for your suggestions and recipes!

My stomach was seriously grumbling looking at all of your tantalizing fall dishes up there. I hope you and Chris have such a wonderful Thanksgiving! It's looking likely that we'll be going to Southern California in January. We would love to see you both!!! When I know more about the specific dates, I'll email you!
Thanks for including my Thanksgiving posts in your round-up, Kristy!
One other thing... I know I've mentioned it before, but I just love that wide wooden spoon in your Pumpkin Spice Granola picture. Do you happen to remember where you bought it?
